Alla Güner is an international artist (French, Ukrainian, Turkish) currently living in Istanbul. Her artistic practice is research-based and focuses on water consumption and global warming. Alla’s works are related to conceptual art. In some of her sculptural works, the main message is to present daily water usage to the viewer by visualizing it with different ratios. This approach has allowed the artist to develop a new style, which she calls “Volume Art.”
In addition, Alla produces “water maps” on various themes such as seas, maps made of water droplets, city maps featuring seas, and water sounds, using different water sources and alcohol-based ink.
